(4:1) Moshe’s hesitation for being skeptical about the belief of Klal Yisroel was that he knew the secret that the success in his mission really depended on the bitchaon and emunah of Bnai Yisroel. So, too, today we have so much to receive from Hashem but we must have the bitachon and emunah. We must yearn for Moshiach.

Have a wonderful Shabbos.

(45:28) Yaakov exultant that Yosef was alive made the decision to go to Mitzrayim to see him. He gathered everything and everybody and set out for the trip. (46:3/4) Yaakov Avinu then goes to Ber Sheva for Hashem’s approval before commencing the actual move to Mitzrayim.

What an awesome lesson of the necessity to constantly seek Daas Torah for all our moves in life. The more we feel, understand and search for the need of the approval of Hashem the more He makes it accessible.

Have a wonderful, meaningful Shabbos.

The parsha shouts out to us the hashgacha pratis of the Ribbono Shel Olam over us and this should lead to our awareness of this in our own lives. Give praise to Hashem through the Chanukah candles that He reinstate the Torah for us through a great demonstration of His love.

Have a wonderful Shabbos, wonderful Chodesh and a Chanukah of joy.

It is awesomely difficult to comprehend the simple understanding of the pasuk 37:20—how the breothers of Yosef hated him to the point of wanting to actually commit him to the death penalty.

Yosef acted towards them in a way which appeared cold, aggressive, full of false pride and animosity; criminal to act this way towards any human and to brothers, the foundation of Klal Yisroel, a nation of love, concern and care this is unforgivable……

Have a meaningful Chanukah and a wonderful Shabbos.

Avraham Avinu received the guests as coarse merchants but related to their words as great prophets. At what point did Avraham realize their true identity? 18:16 Rashi says to escort them as coarse wayfarers to the very end. He obviously valued their words through the concept of hashgacha pratis, everything is from Hashem, on the highest level. A great inspiration for us all.

Have a wonderful, inspiring Shabbos.
