Despite explicit instructions that were given for the construction of the Menora at the end the gold was thrown into the fire and it was Hashem Himself who forged the menorah.
The function of the menorah is to produce light and light is the truth. There isn’t anything more precious.
In the framework of the quest for light and truth it is critical that we appeal to Hashem for a true program that is appropriate for our own personal needs.
